About the Event
The October edition of our Mountain Trail Fun Run series is scheduled to happen on October 19. You may start between 7 and 8 am depending on how far you plan to run. Those planning more than 10 miles or so should get an early start. This run has several options. You can go out and back on the Pacific Crest Trail. It is about a 4 mile round trip to the first saddle. You can go out and back farther if you like. The trail crosses Mt Gleason road (a closed forest service road) so you have the option of running or looping on it as well. It is about 20 miles round trip if you choose to go all the way to Mt Gleason. But, since it is Out and Back you can run whatever distance you like.
Please note that an ADVENTURE PASS is required for parking
Our hosts for this MTFR will be Molly Zorba and Dale Lister. This promises to be an incredible opportunity to challenge yourself on the trails, soak in the stunning scenery, and connect with fellow runners. All skill levels are welcome! Please make sure to bring your running gear, plenty of water, and snacks. Once again - Bring WATER! We can't wait to see you at the PCT for what is sure to be an unforgettable MTFR! Happy Trails!
